Michael J. Kebles, formerly of Somerville and Annandale, NJ, passed away on November 19th. He attended Clemson University, Middlesex College, and Trenton State before assuming managerial supervision of the meter division for Elizabethtown Water Company. In 1998, he settled in Las Vegas, NV where he continued managing and improving the metering department for Las Vegas Valley Water Authority. He headed several committees for the American Water Works Association which developed standards for the water industry.
Mike was a community volunteer with the Boy Scouts, Somerville Rescue Squad and Annandale Hose Company. In Las Vegas, he volunteered with the Metropolitan Police Dept with the REACT fatal team. He is survived by his wife, Susan, son, Robert Kebles, daughter, Cheryl Dillon, sister, Linda Cavaluzzo, and brother, Charles Kebles.
Visiting hours 4pm-7pm on Thursday, December 1, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30am on Friday, December 2, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Entombment to follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery & Mausoleum, Colonia.
