Patsy “Pat” Tosco died August 18, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson Somerset after a short illness. He was 97. Patsy was born on September 2nd 1923 In Bridgewater. He was the son of Michael and Rose Tosco. He was predeceased by his siblings Frank, John, Vincent, Angelo, Nick, Anthony, Michael, Louis, Agnes and Grace.
His wife Mary Jean (Duffy) Tosco predeceased him in 2009. After 48 years of marriage.
Patsy is survived by his 2 daughters Patricia Reed (John) and Jean Paraskevas (Jim). In addition to his daughters he is also survived by his grandsons John Reed Jr. and Tyler Reed along with 2 great grandsons Jackson and Jordan and several nieces and nephews.
Pat grew up in Somerville and moved to Bridgewater in 1963. He graduated from Somerville High School. After High School he was drafted into the Army serving his country in World War II as a Staff Sargent. Returning home, he went to work for the family company Michael Tosco and Son’s. After the company closed in 1972, he was employed as an inspector for VanCleef Engineering in Hillsborough retiring in 1989.
Visitation will be from 9:30am-11am on Monday, August 23, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville and conclude with prayers and Military Honors at Noon at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart Association or Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
