He had a passion for life, his wife, family, and an extended family of friends that could always be found around his pool, garage, the docks near Barnegat Bay, or dinner table. He loved to watch the Yankees, win or lose. Floyd could tell a hundred tales, often disrupted by his hearty laugh, and perhaps need to check with Peg on a name or date. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom his family could always depend on. He worked hard, loved with his whole heart, and showed in every breath he took. Floyd passed away peacefully surrounded by his adoring family. Visiting hours will begin at 4pm on Thursday, June 8, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville followed by a Funeral Service at 6:30pm and conclude with Military Honors at 7pm at the funeral home.
