Michael Powlish, aged 55, died peacefully at home on July 13, 2017. He was born in Somerville and resided in Bridgewater all his life. He was an alumnus of Bridgewater Raritan High School West and was employed by Associated Mailing and Printing in Branchburg for the past 11 years as a machinist. Michael was a devoted husband to his wife Sharon for 25 years and took care of her when she was ill. Michael was predeceased by his wife and his parents Paul and Eleanor Powlish formally of Bridgewater He will be sorely missed by his sister, Debbie Chiselko; his niece, Denise Chiselko; and his great nieces, Danielle and Jennifer. Also surviving are his sister-in- law Diane Devonshire and her husband George; and other nieces and nephews. Michael was a loyal friend and would do anything he could to help anyone in need. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends that he loved like family. Michael will be greatly missed by all the lives that he touched. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made in Michael’s memory to the Wounded Warriors. Visiting hours will begin at 1pm on Sunday, July 23, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville and conclude with a Funeral Service at 3pm at the funeral home.
