On January 24, 2022, 8:35 am, Florence Mary Defino Davis, 50, of Somerville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville.
Born on April 24, 1971, and raised in Bound Brook, with her Mother Emma, Father Peter, and four sisters Annmarie, Eileen, Donna and Paula.
In the summer of 1983, she met her husband Raymond Jerome Davis and eventually moved to Somerville, where she made a family and home for herself. Florence leaves behind her husband, Raymond, her two daughters Jaclyn Nicole (27), Jasmine Marie (24), and her son Raymond Jerome, Jr. (21) as well as her four beautiful grandchildren, Aaliyah, Alyvia, Altaron and Alikai Robinson. She loved her grandchildren, and they loved their GiGi! She was a one-of-a-kind very stubborn woman, but still lived with a pure heart. She may not of had a lot, but she made the best out of it.
If you knew Florence, you knew she was in love with her crime time and cooking shows, and her obsession with crosswords that she inherited from her father, Poppa Pete. Florence may physically no longer be here with us, but her memory and love with live on for generations.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00PM at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville, with a prayer service at 5:30PM.
